Nan has brought so much to the Killians Angels. She is currently Finishing up the Celine Dion World Tour and will be back soon full time. |
Currently on the Celine Dion Taking Chances World Tour as Celine's percussionist, Nannette Fortier, a Las Vegas native, realized her love
for music performance at an early age. Although piano was her first instrument, a passion for drumming quickly surfaced in high school and
has since dominated her musical interest. Nan also added The electic guitar, tin whistle, spoons and Irish bodhran to her repertoire of
instruments. She credits her musical versatility to her love of various styles and ethnic music and has played drums in a Scottish pipe
band, a Japanese taiko group, West African drumming groups and even with a Dixieland band in Japan(with Ginger Bruner). She also
attended the Percussion Institute of Technology and has been an educator in California, Las Vegas, New Zealand and Berlin Germany.
Among her extensive credits, Nan has performed with Killian's Angels since 2003 and Celine Dion since 2006. Her talent has taken her to
Turkey and throughout Europe while touring with pop-star Mustafa Sandal in 1996. While living in New Zealand from 1998-2000, Nan had the
opportunity to perform with two of the country's most respected talents, Karen Hunter,Catlin Smith. She performed with Blue Man Group in
Las Vegas and Berlin, Germany from 2004-2006. Her Credits also include performances on The Tonight Show, The Today Show, The
American Music Awards, The 2008 Grammy Nominations, "Thats Just the Woman in Me" - with Celine Dion in 2008 on CBS, Celine Dion - Live
in Las Vegas - " A New Day DVD and apperances on Xena Warrior Princess, Beverly Hills 90210 and Super Bowl XXII. Nan is endorsed by
Zildjian, LP, Rhythum Tech, Re,o and Grover.
